Reality bites

It is quite easy to dream. A dream of a free India, a dream of a developed India, a dream of an incredible India. Slogans are many, result are nil. Policies are countless, implementation is void. But still we shout- we are Indians. Whenever someone tries to point out at the negatives of India, he is termed a cynic & pessimist. He is termed as a pseudo activist. But, my friend, what you call development is not development. That is mere a simple interest rate you are drawing out from a huge amount called India. The so called growth to which we are fed via government hypes & pseudo media coverages are minimal outputs for a country undergoing 62nd anniversary of independence.
This is such a country where lawmakers get a free hand to break laws. This is such a country where a people’s representative can make us wait for months to meet him. This is such a country where you have to bribe for your own pension. Every moment the common people here have to feel that someone is looking at him; someone is playing big boss over him.
The very moment you step out from your home, you are converted to a joker by this system- you have to wait till VIP convoys pass smoothly; you have to ignore clear violations of Governance rules by the rulers themselves. But do not shout friend unless & until you have got a strong dynasty behind you. Otherwise you will be thrashed to molecules.
You may sometimes feel like changing the system, the whole system. But at the end the system changes you. You forget your dreams, you forget your goals, you forget your individuality. In the name of pseudo patriotism you are psychologically killed and forced to serve the duffers who call themselves people’s representative. Still we hope things will change. Still, we believe Mera Bharat Mahan. But, time is very less to prove this.
