According to Mid Day tabloid, CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA - the first Indian production by the Warner Bros, has been delayed due to faults in the film’s prints.

The film was scheduled to be released during the festive week of Diwali. Now it is planned to be released in January 2009 as the lead actor Akshay Kumar is unable to give dates to shoot the damaged portion of the film, the paper reported.
